story:
a friend of mine told me he knew a guy who organizes newcomer band concerts in berlin, so the next day i talked to chris blaurock of berlin newcomerbands and suggested to film their next show in the weisse rose venue, which is 5 minutes away from my house. the show turned out to be the band contest finale, so the bands seemed all pretty skilled to me.
i ended up bringing 3 cams, one as soundboard tripod in the back, one operated by myself left side of the stage, one in the front row operated by varying musicians and audience members. due to time constrains and hectics a few intros didnt get recorded. a soundboard lineout defect rendered the audio recordings useless.
videos of all 7 bands were produced, of which 4 were sold to the bands on dvd so far.
