i got asked to film the berlin dot club show of MAROON and edit numerous tracks from the show for t.k. of m-m.cock (name censored). i agreed to do it, and then announcingly organized additionally recording the support bands of the night. all 5 support bands were filmed by 5 manually operated cams and 1 tripod drumcam successfully. however it turned out that the soundboard audio recordings were sabotaged by t.k., so some bands werent interested in using the recordings anymore, others asked me to work by integrating studio audio dubs, which meant a massively increased workload.
we proceeded filming maroon afterwards, their show was recorded on 9 cameras and multitrack audio. after the show, t.k's team asked me to return my camera and tapes to them. the camera was theirs, no problem, the tapes were theirs, but the recordings on the tapes were mine. and after being sabotaged on recording the support bands i didnt see why i should hand my recordings over without further communication. so that guy tried to take the tapes from me violently. no serious injuries occured, however my bag was damaged. after all i still gave my maroon recordings to them, i had no plans to work with those of my team solely anyways, and had just done those of my team as additional recordings to get a better setup.
next day i went to the police and reported all the things that happened, the case was filed and processed. information to seek a civil rights case wasnt recommended to me because policemen arent obliged to recommend it, although it wouldve been the right thing to do. the police relevant case was limited to the violence that occurred. since this was tied with the ownership of the tapes, the case was settled in december 09, and i was finally told that going to a lawyer was the thing to do here.
after meeting t.k. again in february and hearing annoying questions on my 'insanity' aka depressions, i got things ready and gave the case to my lawyer philipp beck again.
lets see whats next.
