after recording the band at schwarzer spiegel in march, gray death angels asked me to capture another gig of theirs. we got the usual 5 cams and soundboard lined up. 2 additional bands that were originally set to play ended up cancelling their gigs. divination of doom played 45 minutes of grindy death metal, with the audience banging heavier than the band, the light was pretty low, but there was a lot going on. gda had a lot more light, i got good shots next to the keyboarder again. during the last song the light system went out of function, apart from that everything worked well. after the show we did an interview outside, and while i was too stupid to activate nightshot mode, we had a really fantastic and serious nonversation focusing on the sexual identity of the keyboardist and dancing banana.
